A Draught Shop Certification® is a beacon of quality when you’re looking for a great pint. It means the establishment strictly follows the following quality standards for both draught system quality and beverage service.

Standard Caustic Cleaning
The entire draught system is cleaned, at a minimum, every two weeks, using standard caustic cleaning agents and a full recirculating process. All faucets, couplers, and any other removable stainless steel parts are scrubbed and sanitized as part of this process.

Standard Acid Cleaning
The entire draught system is cleaned, at a minimum, every three months, using standard acidic cleaning agents and a full recirculating process. All faucets, couplers, and any other removable stainless steel parts are scrubbed and sanitized as part of this process.

Beer Clean Glassware
All glassware achieves “beer clean” standards for both storage and service, following all certified glass washing standards.

Fresh Beer
All beer served in the establishment in within standard code dates for freshness. Old, off-flavored, mishandled, or faulty beer, through the fault of the establishment, distributor, or producer, will not be served to customers.
